MeowSwap is pleased to reveal that it will be collaborating with MetaHash to pursue strategic opportunities for cross-chain interoperability within the Cardano ecosystem.

As some of the existing MeowSwap community know, Gleb Nikitin and the team behind MeowSwap also work on MetaHash, a fast, secure, and decentralized blockchain network which validates transactions in under 3 seconds and reaches over 100,000 TPS.

MetaHash enables the creation of decentralized applications (dApps) that work in real time like ordinary web 2.0 services and applications, powers independent sub-chains protected by the main MetaHash network, and host digital assets in the form of tokens in the MetaHash network. Additionally, any asset in any other blockchain ecosystem (e.g. ETH, ERC20, Bitcoin) can be converted to MetaHash Coins.

Now, through MeowSwap, users will be able to seamlessly move Cardano Native Tokens (CNTs) from the Cardano mainnet to the MetaHash network, enabling the cross-directional flow of assets between the two blockchains.

We expect that this will make it possible to make thousands of simultaneous exchanges of CNTs by leveraging MetaHash’s lightning fast transaction and validation speeds, while also making use of MeowSwap’s solution to facilitate the front-end token swaps and wrapping of tokens.

Alongside benefits to the average user who can now take advantage of MetaHash’s pre-existing network for swapping their Cardano native assets, we also expect the integration will be a huge benefit to those looking to deploy trading bots which require high-volume and low cost capabilities.

For the MetaHash community, our strategic collaboration will open the doors for the huge and rapidly growing Cardano community to enter the ecosystem and make use of MetaHash’s leading blockchain interoperability infrastructure.

We will soon follow up with more details of our planned integration and strategic goals, so keep an eye out for more information in the new year!
